Domestic EV Charger Grants
75% Grants Available for the Supply and Installation of a Government Approved Home Electric Vehicle Charging Station
Under new guidelines issued by OLEV (Office for Low Emission Vehicles) in 2016 domestic EV charge point grants are set at a 75% contribution to the cost of one chargepoint and its installation, with a grant cap of £500 per household/eligible vehicle. The Free Chargepoint scheme ended in August 2014 and new applicants are required to either own or lease an EV or be the primary user of a company EV.

The Workplace Charging Scheme provides support towards the up-front costs of the purchase and installation of electric vehicle charge-points, for eligible businesses, charities and public sector organisations.
